Lucas News Update

So we saw Lucas's doctor and no he can't return to home because he has a bactery in his colon, the results of the coloscopy are here.
The doc said perhaps in February, the 26 !!! 26, our pood beloved was so sad today,he can't stand that anymore and cry a little.
We are disappointed and tired, we talk to his doctor, we hope that Lucas has a permission to return to home Sunday for the day, he deserved one day with his sisters and brother.
So the mood at home is tense. We need him at home healthy and smiling.
Plus there a lot of flu at the hospital and the kids all have a mask in the corridors or classroom.

To my mind it would make more sense for him to be home and away from the flu bugs and such like at the hospital. But, cest la vie. I do hope he is able to get home on Sunday at least for the day.

I'm so sorry hon. It's a small setback though and should go quick. 10 more days sucks and hospitals are boring for anyone, but for kids more so. Hugs for both of you. He is very sweet! Make sure to take care of you too hon!

PS: Maybe you can find him something to keep him busy with that he enjoys? Maybe a favored new computer game?

At the hospital they have a lot of games, even the Xbox 360 and the PS3, the lenval foundation takes care a lot of the children so he's busy, a lot but he wants to return home so much.

I totally understand, hospitals suck and no matter how much you can have to do it's not like being home. I know with all the noise and people coming and going that you have to go home in order to recover. I had that a few times myself in my life. You can't recover while in the hospital, it's being surrounded by your family that helps you get better! "HUGS" to you both.
