Perhaps she should've watched more carefully. Many animes which are not from this decade had a lot of gay content on it, and people were fine, but maybe because they didn't, say, watch between lines.

I just tell people "get used to it" because it's about time! DADT is gone, same sex couples are getting married and that is how it should be!

If they can't move on and take the train of the 21th century it's their loss.

I've missed something, but think I know what the something is. You do not need people in your life who have no tolerance. People are different and we are all individuals. It is hard to cut some people from you life, but sometimes you must. Vent and scream it helps the soul. <>

I don't really "care" that there are gay couples in so many shows (not all, definitely NOT all, I'm watching enough without them) and i'm just proud that SOME shows manage to treat the gay guys like any other people in the show and not differently. That's definitely a step in the right direction!

But I totally understand your feelings!

I mean, I slash! A LOT! And my friend called me "hetero-phobic" for it and told me I am too stupid to accept canon. Which is not the case, I just rather prefer my "Head canon" and i don't think there's something wrong with that!
